Children's Ministries
Wednesday Night Youth Groups
From September through May on Wednesday Nights our church is filled with enthusiasm and energy as children, teens and parents meet in their respective groups for Family Life Night! Children love this night as they learn God’s Word and participate in singing and fun-filled activities. Listed below are the three children’s groups:
Honeybees (age 3) - Room B14
Gophers (ages 4-5) - Room B16 - This is a Word Of Life Clubs ministry.
Olympians (grades 1-5) - Fellowship Hall. - This is a Word Of Life Clubs ministry. (There is a camp scholarship program that in which the Olympian children can participate).
A nursery is also available on Wednesday Nights. There is also a teen ministry and a Bible Study for adults on Wednesday nights. If you would like more information about these ministries contact Pastor Briggs. PastorBriggs@marillabaptist.org
Mom’s Morning Out
On Wednesday mornings from 9AM – 11:30AM, fifty preschoolers attend this ministry. The children are divided into five groups of ten and participate in the following classes: Bible lesson, crafts, ABC‘s, gym, and activities. The children have a great time while learning more about God and their world. Children’s Choirs
Primary Choir is for ages 4 – 1st grade
Junior Choir is for those in 2nd – 6th grades.
The choirs usually meet for practice 2 or 3 times a month at 5PM on Sundays. They sing in the Sunday services and special occasions. For more information contact Pastor Briggs. Pastorbriggs@marillabaptist.org
Summer Ministries
Bible Adventure Club
This ministry is designed for those entering first grade through and including those who have just completed the sixth grade.
The purpose of Bible Adventure Club is two-fold and is found in our name – Bible and Adventure. First each club will start with a Bible story to teach the children about the Lord. The second purpose is to take the children on exciting adventures. This club meets once a week for approximately six weeks. Vacation Bible School
This high intensity week of fun, excitement, activities, crafts, and dynamic Bible lessons is always a highlight for the children of our church and community. There are classes designed for children age 3 through and including those in sixth grade. Bible School is held for one week (Mon. – Fri.) during the summer from 9AM until Noon.
Year Round Ministries
Sunday School
Every Sunday from 8:45AM until 9:45AM families come and grow spiritually through our Sunday School Ministry. There are classes for everyone from age 2 up through and including adult level classes. A nursery is also provided for those under age two. Listed below are the children classes and their locations.

Jr. Church
During the 10:00 AM Sunday Worship Service a children’s church ministry is available for children ages 3-5. They are dismissed during the service and parents pick them up in room B13 following the service.
