About First Baptist of Marilla
First Baptist is a fundamental Bible believing church located in Western New York. We are located approximately 20 miles Southeast of Buffalo. We hope you find our web site interesting and helpful, and if you're in the neighborhood drop in and visit. We'll try our best to make you feel at home.
What's New This Month
This month the Marilla Players are producing a play called John, His Story, written by Jeannette Clift George. This will be performed here at First Baptist on Sunday August 10th at 9:30 AM. We will not have our normal Sunday School that morning but will begin our churchservices at 9:30 to accommodate the length of the play (aproximately 1.5 hours) We will then be sending this entire production to North Valley Baptist Church in Pennsylvania later in the week to do a four performance run.
Our Purpose
The mission of the First Baptist Church of Marilla is to "do all to the glory of God", in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, by evangelizing the lost in our community, edifying the believers in our church, and equipping servants for ministry in the world.
